Secondary Profession for Dervish
Can anyone point out which class is ideal for being the secondary of a dervish?

Like Assassin before it, the Dervish does not really need a secondary profession as it has versatile self-healing enchantments and powerful attacks. Probably the one I would recommend is Monk. In the early stages of the game, there is little to no use for any monk skills, plus having additional attribute to spend points on weakens Derv core skills.
However later in the game, "No Attribute" skills such as Purge Conditions, Purge Signet, Remove Hex and Resurrect (to replace the Res signet) would be of much more benefit and don't use any precious attribute points.

Personally, I find that mending touch, is a great skill even at 0 attribute. /W amd /R are also usefull for wild blow and apply poison. I run melona with /mez for powerdrain and leech sig.
The dervish primary also has potential as an orders D/N. The dervish heal party is conditional, but cheap.

I use Rt weapon spells to make use of the dervish scythe AoE. Wailing weapon and weapon of fury are two good examples.

You might want to go with /E, that way you can do extra AoE damage, the purpose of the dervish, and use conjure spells for added damage with your sythe.

Assassin because:
Grim Reaper = Awesome
Ninja = Awesome
Grim Reaper + Ninja = Uber Awesome
But really, use Malicious Strike for that critical after you use a conditional rendering attack.
Since Dervish runs very well with just Dervish skills, throwing that in wouldn't hinder anything.

I'm currently running D/P with "Go for the eyes!". Maybe it's useless, but at least I'm doing something with the adrenaline the scythe creates.
Might change to D/W for Wild Blow... But it's so easy to fill a skill bar with 7 Dervish skills (and a Sunspear Rebirth Signet )

D/W. You can charge pretty much any stance in 3 hits, 2 if you use "FOR GREAT JUSTICE!" and "Watch Yourself!" is indespencible (SP?)
D/Mo with CoP= AoE Spike
